This opportunity is available for Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation Control Engineering, Instrumentation and Technician Electronics Engineering, and Computer Science & Engineering disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria for Graduate & Technician Apprentice:
- Qualification: Engineering / Diploma passed (in the years 2020/2021/2022 only) and registered in MHRD NATS Portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in).
Age Limit:
- Age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship rules.
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
For Graduate Apprentices:
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by statutory University.
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by Institutions empowered to grant such degrees by an Act of Parliament.
For Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in the relevant discipline.
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in the relevant discipline.
Selection Process for Graduate & Technician Apprentice:
- Engagement of Graduate and Technician Apprentices will be made on merit basis of aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in Graduate and Diploma respectively.
- Preference will be given to the children of VPA Employees.
- The final rank list will be prepared according to categories General/SC/ST/OBC after certificate verification.

How to Apply Graduate & Technician Apprentice:
Step 1: For students who have already enrolled in the National Web Portal and have login details:
- Login.
- Click the Establishment Request Menu.
- Click Find Establishment.
- Upload Resume.
- Choose Establishment Name.
- Type “VISAKHAPATNAM PORT AUTHORITY” and search.
- Click apply.
- Click apply again.
Step 2: For students who have not enrolled in the National Web Portal:
- Go to www.mhrdnats.gov.in.
- Click Enroll.
- Complete the application form.
- A unique Enrollment Number for each student will be generated.
- Follow the same steps as in Step 1.
Travel Expenses:
No TA/DA will be paid for attending certificate verification.
Boarding/Lodging:
No boarding or lodging expenses are admissible.
Upon Completion:
Upon completion of the Apprenticeship period, ‘VISAKHAPATNAM PORT AUTHORITY’, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, shall have no obligation to offer employment to such apprentices.
Important Note:
- Incomplete/Erroneous online applications received after the due date will be rejected.
- No further communication regarding such applications will be entertained.
- Board of Apprenticeship training (SR)/Visakhapatnam Port Authority, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, has not entrusted/authorized any individual organization to coordinate or liaison on their work. Candidates should beware of touts.
