Company Details: BHEL- Power Sector Southern Region (PSSR) proposes to engage 18 Nos. of Graduate Apprentices (Engineering- Civil / Mechanical) as per Apprentices Rules, 1992 for ONE Year, for PSSR HQ Chennai and PSSR Project Sites at TAMIL NADU (Udangudi, Kudankulam, Tuticorin, Ennore) & TELANGANA (Yadadri).

BHEL Apprentice Recruitment 2023 Job Summary: BHEL, PSSR is inviting applications for the engagement of Graduate Apprentices in Engineering disciplines. The duration of the training will be ONE year, and selected candidates will be placed in one of the mentioned locations. The engagement as a Graduate Apprentice does not guarantee any employment in BHEL, and candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 9000.

BHEL Graduate Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: Candidates who have successfully passed their Degree in Engineering (B.E/ B.Tech) in the Branch/Discipline mentioned above during 2020/2021/2022/2023 from a recognized institution by the Government shall be eligible.
- Candidates should be registered in the MHRD NATS portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in).
- The date of joining the Apprenticeship should not be beyond three years from the date of passing the Degree.
- Age (as of 01.05.2023):
- Minimum: As per Apprenticeship Act.
- Maximum: 27 Years (General)
- Relaxation in the upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC Candidates shall be extended as per Govt. guidelines.

How to Apply for Graduate Apprentice Posts
- Fill in the Application form with the required details.
- Attach self-attested photocopies of the following documents:
- Degree/Provisional Certificate along with Mark Sheets of all Semesters/Consolidated Mark Sheet of Degree
- Class X/SSLC Certificate
- Community Certificate (if applicable)
- Send the duly filled and signed Application form along with the documents to the following address on or before 13.06.2023. Super-scribe the cover with “Engagement of Apprentices.” Address: SDGM (HR), PSSR, BHEL Integrated Office Complex, TNEB Road, Pallikaranai, Chennai-600100
Selection Process for BHEL Graduate Apprentice Posts:
Selection will be based on merit in the ratio of 30:70 of marks obtained in SSLC & Graduation. BHEL will adopt its own conversion formula for candidates having CGPA results. Candidates with prior Apprenticeship training or job experience of one year or more, after attaining the required qualification, are not eligible to apply.
Important Instructions:
- Candidates may note that if selected as Graduate Apprentices, completion of training will be subject to registration by the Board of Apprenticeship Training, Southern Region, Chennai. Refusal of registration by BOAT will result in termination of training and non-issuance of the relevant certificate.
- The duration of training shall be ONE Year, and the place of training will be decided by BHEL.
- Engaging suitable candidates as Graduate Apprentices or completion of training at BHEL does not entitle candidates/trainees to claim any type of employment in BHEL.
- Trainees will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 9000.
- Reservation for candidates will be as per extant Government Rules/Regulations.
- Candidates shall have the Standard of Fitness as prescribed.
- BHEL reserves the right to revise/reschedule/cancel/suspend the engagement process if the need arises, without assigning any further notice or reason. The decision of the management shall be final, and no appeal shall be entertained.
